Je découvre à l’instant que la facture instrumentale fait partie de l’artisanat d’art.
Parce que, par exemple, la volute à l’extrémité du manche de mon arpeggione est « hors utilité ».
En effet, très provisoirement, on peut dire que :
– artisanat = le produit sert à quelques chose
– artistique = le produit ne « sert à rien »

Un instrument de musique sert … à faire de la musique.
Pour les différentes sortes de batucada, on tappe sur différentes sortes d’instruments.
On va les appeler les résonnants.

Quel geste – dont le résultat ne sert à rien – puis-je ajouter à un résonnant ?

La contrainte du projet est que chaque oeuvre doit comporter les 9 couleurs de l’arc en ciel.
Ici, peindre chaque résonnant d’une de ces 9 couleurs est une évidence.

Lorsqu’un résonnant est récupéré – un bidon, un tonneau, une caisse, un woodblock, une planche à laver, etc. – alors, la dimension artisanale / industrielle est hors champ.

Lorsque j’assemble 9 résonnants façon exposition, en l’absence de musiciens, ils redeviennent, en quelque sorte, « objets sans fonction » donc objets d’art.
